So (she asked all casual, and ignoring the non-sequitor), say two TP characters were having sex in The Chamber of the Ordeal. Who would they be?

Jonathan and Thayet?
Jonathan and Keladry?
Keladry and Wyldon?
Wyldon and Duke Gareth?
Other? (Please specify)

Ok, so this sort of depends on how you are doing the chamber - does it scare the crap out of everyone who goes in? Or is it a sentient room, and only scares the crap out of the knights doing their ordeals? (I think it would be hilarious if the priests perform some sort of ceremony to set it for it to do ordeals, and another sort of ceremony to set it up as some sort of crazy way to get visions. Better than drugs.)

In any case, you have to have a masochistic streak a mile wide to go *back* in, let alone back in for sex. (Watching everyone you love die while you are helpless and/or also dying is not generally a turn-on).

So for me, Thayet and Jon is sort of a no. Unless Jon knows it won't be ordeal-like (as King, maybe he understands a bit more how the chamber works?). (Although, also, q-sama's thing about the Queen's ordeal sounds cool.)

Jon and Kel is the worst sort of fucked up, especially as she knows for sure the chamber is sentient and there's an extra thrill of exhibitionism in it for her. Also, Jon/Kel is already pretty masochistic.

Kel/Wyldon gets the same sort of commentary, although I have problems seeing him going back into the chamber, as he probably thinks he'd see his family suffering. Maybe his little dogs, too.

I would love to see someone who has not had their ordeal, or who is not likely to have an ordeal being an idiot and trying out the chamber anyways - palace staff, perhaps, or a Conte kid. Or an immortal... although, on second thought, please, please don't write that.

Oooh, tough one. I like Thayet and Jon... ideally, as co-monarch, she would have to undergo an Ordeal.
